About the Instructor
Former competitive triathlete and adventure racer, Bill Menker has spent nearly a decade in search & rescue. Originally with Ohio Special Response Team and now with Ohio LandSAR, he is a certified Search & Rescue Technician (SARTECH II) and Wilderness First Responder (WFR). Also a full-time librarian and part-time blacksmith, Bill teaches classes on a variety of readiness subjects in his spare time.
